Bodet’s Digital Countdown Clock loaned to Hug Many Charity Event
Bodet lent one of its large Digital LED Countdown Clocks to Hug Many, to support the charity New Year’s Eve event
Hug Many is a New Year’s Eve charity event which takes place every year in Tunbridge Wells, featuring live music and fireworks.
The event has been running for six years, this time attracting between 4,000 to 5,000 people all ready to celebrate the end of the year with Bodet’s Countdown Clock counting down to midnight, marked by a Scottish bagpiper. Other entertainment was provided throughout the night including six piece funk bank Oomphf and a DJ.
Bodet was happy to have the opportunity to again support the annual event. The Countdown Clock it provided was clearly visible on the stage, providing a clear countdown so revellers knew exactly when to celebrate the strike of midnight and the start of 2020.
Hug Many is the brainchild of founder and organiser Ian Andrew, a local businessman. It has grown every year, with the 2019 event raising around £32,000. All profits go to local charities which this year were Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre, Trinity Theatre and Nourish Community Foodbank.
Bodet offer a range of different Countdown Clock models with varying viewing distances and the ability to either count up or down in seconds, minutes, hours and days (as well as display the time). Display options can be altered with either a wired or wireless control unit.
As well as offering clocks for purchase, should you be running an event, Bodet are able to offer hire options for its wide range of indoor and outdoor clocks.
If you are interested in either purchasing or hiring a clock from Bodet, please contact us for a quote or further information.
